A man has been charged following a stabbing in a Wiltshire town.
John Worrall, of no fixed abode, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 29, following an incident in Sandell Place, Amesbury, on Thursday, January 25.
The 34-year-old has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Police say he was remanded in custody following the hearing.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Sandell Place, Amesbury, on Thursday evening (January 25).
“John Worrall, 34, of no fixed abode, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
“He appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 29, and was remanded into custody.”
