Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog attacked a dog walker in Devizes.
The attack occurred at around 7:35am on October 30 in an alleyway entering Drews Pond.
The victim had been walking her dog when another dog, described as a black, medium sized dog with white spots on its back, became aggressive and bit her on the leg causing a deep cut and puncture wounds.
The attacking dog’s owner is described as a middle aged white woman with dark hair. She was wearing a small hat and a green parka jacket at the time of the attack.
Police have been unable to acquire any images or CCTV of the incident. They are appealing for information from anyone who may have been in the area at the time who either witnessed the attack or can help to identify the dog owner.
